The new single from the Limerick lads goes about trying to capture in words the feeling of unease and uncertainty that surrounds Irish culture today in typical DRL fashion. The Summer is shaping up to be a good un and hopefully 'We Waste Ourselves' will be the soundtrack to it. Kickin' it against “the man” or plain just refusing to empty the dishwasher for your Mam, We Waste Ourselves is the first song from a rock-out EP that's underway from Dead Red Light. Stay tuned folks.
Recorded at Noel Hogan studios (Cranberries Guitarist)
by Owen Lewis (who has worked with the likes of REM, Courtney Love to name a few) and mastered by Richard Dowling (Suede, David Bowie, Foo Fighters).
